When visiting Oslo last weekend, we lounged at Steam Kaffebar – a cafe inside Norway’s largest High-end fashion mall, called Eger Karl Johan. I enjoyed a cup of the house coffee, and a piece of crunchy chocolate with a core of delicious marzipan; and to my surprise, the place was not too pricy. In addition, 2 out of 3 employees were super nice (one had a bad attitude), AND they have free WiFi.
In my opinion, the mall (including the cafe) is very nicely designed, and I like the mood created by the black walls and tile floor, as opposed to the typical all-white. It gives the place some warmth, as well as making it look more expensive. To see more nice photos from Eger Karl Johan, click here.
